I know this is way off-topic but I just had to share these gems from an article in today’s WSJ. Funniest thing I’ve read all week. Apparently, the apple DOESN’T fall far from the tree:
Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who had a baby last year, embarked on a media tour promoting abstinence education.
“Regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only…100% foolproof way you can prevent pregnancy,” she said. Her pregnancy was announced days after Gov. Palin was chosen to be Republican Sen. John McCain’s running mate last year.
The father of Ms. Palin’s baby, Levi Johnston, is taking the other view in separate interviews. “Abstinence is a great idea,” Mr. Johnston told CBS. “But I also think you need to enforce, you know, condoms and birth control and other things like that to have safe sex. I don’t just think telling young kids, ‘You can’t have sex,’ it’s not going to work.”
