Simcha, my wife, is still in Israel. She often gets emails from her friends about “the situation.” These emails are almost always intended to boost morale and reinforce the “righteousness of our cause.” Usually Simcha doesn’t bother to respond. But recently a friend sent her a flash presentation which purported to present a “knock-out” answer to Palestinian nationalist claims. I find it quite mild compared to many other more hateful rants I have seen. But perhaps Simcha’s background studying history made this one stick in her craw. So she wrote this thoughtful response.
