PROTEST ISRAELI MISSILE ATTACKS ON NON-VIOLENT PALESTINIAN PROTESTERS & CIVILIANS
13 Palestinian civilians were killed on Wednesday when Israeli gunships fired missiles at a non-violent demonstration. 37 Palestinians have been killed, and 200+ homes destroyed, in the last three weeks.
PROTEST U.S. SUPPORT FOR ISRAELI WAR CRIMES
150,000 Israelis protested in Tel Aviv this week, demanding that Israel withdraw completely from Gaza. Israeli government officials have decried the army’s actions in Gaza as “war crimes.” But Bush still supports the decimation of Gaza.
PROTEST THE NEOCONSERVATIVE ALLIANCE BETWEEN BUSH AND A.I.P.A.C.
AIPAC (The American-Israel Public Affairs Committee) whips up fears of anti-Semitism and paints Israel as a hapless victim. Leveraging American fears, AIPAC wields huge amounts of money and influence. In return for Bush’s cooperation, AIPAC offers him access to an important strategic pawn in controlling the Middle East — Israel. Bush’s support for Israel’s destruction of Palestine, population “transfer” and outright killing of Palestinians is cloaked as “support” for Israelis and defense of democracy. In reality, it serves only his own agenda of keeping Israelis and American Jews in fear, and subjugating Palestinians.
