As usual, when confronted with failure, Bush & Co effectively responds – with propaganda spectacles. Remember how they promised to do in Iraq what they are in promising in the U.S. Gulf coast? Well you can read how effective they have been in Iraq here
Actually, I take that criticism back. The war in Iraq has been quite efffective — as corporate welfare for friends of Bush & Co. The “Gulf Opportunity Zone” will no doubt be yet another lucrative opportunity for Halliburton et. al. They are already cashing in.
And we all have already long ago forgotten about Afghanistan and our promises to that country.
